♡♡HAPPY TAILS: PIPER!!♡♡
Dylan and Kirstyn adopted PIPER from HBR just over a year ago. As she celebrates her Gotcha Day we checked in to get an update on her progress with her forever family!
Dylan shared that her favourite things to do are to eat her supper, bother her big brother Moses and snuggle with her Mom and Dad! “She falls asleep on us every day and night in any position she lands in, most commonly on her back with all four legs straight up in the air. The best thing about her is her smile. Every day when we get home from either work, grocery shopping or even a 5 min step-out to run to the store, we are always greeted with a wiggling butt and a smile ear to ear.”
When asked if she had any issues adapting to her new home they said: “The first few days she was unsure of us her surroundings. That being said, she fit right in and made herself at home and part of the family very quickly. We couldn’t imagine her not being part of our family.”
In terms of advice for potential adopters, the family said: “Make sure you get all of the history on your dog to ensure he/she is the right fit for you. We have watched Piper go from a shy, scared, fearful of men, but loving dog to a calm, loveable, comfortable with most people and happy dog. We are unbelievably happy that we found her through HBR and strongly recommend that other people do the same as it is a life changer for both you and the dog.”
