AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION: CLOVER

Your girl CLOVER here!

I am a high octane extrovert, sometimes described as a little “extra”. I have an affinity for Charcuterie, running Charity 5k’s and hoarding ALL the Butt scratches .

I am seeking a like minded individual of the Human type who will allow me be the big spoon and accept me for the stage 5 clinger that truly I am. Cat and small dog people need not apply.

I can totally see myself with someone who has kids, but definitely none under 4 ft tall – too wobbly.

Likes:
long car rides with the window partly open, Painstakingly slow introductions to other dogs ( no small dogs please), 90’s gangsta Rap & silly snap chat filters

Dislikes:
House Music, Car rides that ultimately end at the vet’s, Old Fashioned Plain Timbits, Felines and small dogs(far too shifty), and “heeling”.

Later (or sooner?), Clover.xo

♡♡HAPPY TAILS: Benny (Benjamin)!!!♡♡

Catherine and Dave adopted Benny from HBR just over a year ago! As he celebrates his Gotcha Day, we checked in to see how he is doing! His family shared the following update with us:

“Benny loves to chase rabbits in the yard, lay in the sun and play with his ropes. When he feels like you are ignoring him, he will start chasing his tail and if that doesn’t work, he’ll try for a game of keep away with any socks he can find.”

“When Benny first came home, it took some time for him to trust us and for him to be comfortable here, for him to know this is home. We had issues with accidents the first 6 months, but that has stopped. He still gets really nervous/anxious in the car but at home he is relaxed now.”

When asked to share some advice for potential adopters, the family said: “You have to be willing to give them time to learn to trust you. They have had a tough time and need time to feel at home. We’re really happy we found Benny. He makes us laugh every day and is such a character. He is a mischievous, cuddly clown.”

We are so happy to know Benny is living his best life with his new family! Thank you for choosing adoption!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION : WALLY ?

Hey Everyone!
My name is Wally, I am a one year old Boxer mix who full of energy, but also loves a good Netflix binge!
I am super proud to say that I am fully house trained and crate trained ??
I am looking for an active family who will exercise with me regularly. I really need to run off my energy before I can settle in at the end of the day.

I love, love, LOVE people!
Slow introductions are important and sometimes get a little too excited and antsy, so I think that smaller children or seniors are probably not a good match for me! I wouldn’t want to knock someone down by accident- yikes!

A busy city life is just not my jam. I love the action, but I have a hard time relaxing and using my inside voice when there is so much happening outside! If I could choose, a detached home outside of the busy city or rural a home would be ideal. No city apartments for this guy, thank you.
Also, living with another med-large sized dog would be ok with me! A dog-friendly cat might be ok, too.

I am a bit suspicious and nervous with new people, so my family would need to be patient and understanding. My ideal family would also be willing to work with me on my “drop its” and leash walking skills particularly. I really struggle to give something up when I find something I like and I DO like to collect leaves and litter when I am out for walks. ?
Foster Mom says I can also be a bit protective of my home and people, so she is working with me to make me the best I can be.

** a commitment to training is a must for young Wally**
