Homeward Bound Rescue’s Canine Carnival
Join us at our 6th Annual Canine Carnival, the only event in Durham that provides family fun for everyone, even the dogs! Do you think your pup may appreciate a good dip in the doggy splash zone or a more substantial dock dive? Maybe a quick run around the agility ring is in order but, if a leisurely stroll around the vendor market is what you’re furry family member prefers, we’ve got you covered.
For the family members of the human variety, visit the Kidz Carnival Corner, grab some lunch and participate in the onsite raffle, including some amazing prizes!

Our last Paint Nite was such a success and a sell out, we thought we would host another for the holiday season! When you buy a ticket to this event, $15 will be donated to Homeward Bound Rescue. Homeward Bound Rescue is dedicated to the well-being of brachycephalic dogs. We are non-profit, volunteer-run, and foster home based. We do not have kennel facilities where our dogs are kept, each rescue dog lives, lovingly cared for in the home of our Fosters until their Forever Home is found. The daily operations of Homeward Bound Rescue are managed by a dedicated team of volunteers, including a Board of Directors and coordinators in the positions of integral operations such as Foster, Adoptions, Fundraising, Events, and Home Visits.\nHomeward Bound Rescue is entirely funded by donations, which include surrender and adoption fees. All money goes toward caring for our dogs. Every donation makes a difference to us, as veterinary costs for the breeds we rescue can run very high. Our rescue dogs come from owner surrenders, puppy mills, Humane Societies, and local shelters.\nWe have a few dogs in care that need extensive surgeries, this night is to raise funds for them! |

Volunteer Appreciation Celebration!
At HBR, we truly appreciate our amazing volunteers! Without you, we could not save as many dogs as we do!
