WELCOME BEA

Please join us in welcoming beautiful Bea to the HBR foster program. Bea is a 1-year-old Dogo Argentino who found herself homeless recently until HBR brought her in.

Thank you Sandra and Stephanie for helping us help Bea. Thank you Arielle and Shelly for opening your home to Bea until she finds her FUR-EVER home.

Bea will need to be spayed and fully vetted before being available for adoption. Keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for updates as Bea settles in.

FOSTER UPDATE: MANGO

Foster mom provides the following update: “This sweet big baby is such a joy with her massive butt wiggles and smelly farts. She loves people and her walks. She waits every morning at the front door for her walk. She has learned one command in the last two weeks, for a grand total of two, sit and down. We are working on learning more!

”Way to go, Mango! Keep following along on her journey through our socials!

RORY

Hi Rory, here, just thought I fill everyone in on my progress..I have made great progress; I don’t growl as much now when I meet new humans. I only growl now if I am scared or unsure of what is going to happen. I have not bit anyone. I love to run and play, walks and belly rubs. I still have some work to do on my jumping up on people and nipping when I play, but my foster parents are working on teaching me to get my toys when I start to nip. But over all I feel I have made great progress. This weekend I am going to be meeting my foster dog brother and see if we can hang out together. RORY IS ON HOLD AND NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME

About HBR

HBR is a volunteer-run, small scale dog rescue group located in Ontario, Canada. We are non-profit, and foster home based, meaning we have no kennel facilities where our dogs are kept. Each rescue dog lives temporarily in a volunteer's home until their Forever Home is found.
